Arabian Travel Market 2011
The ‘Arabian Travel Market’ was held this year during March in Dubai. Amongst the eye catching attractions on offer to delegates was a Formula 1 Grand Prix racecar simulator. This used technology similar to that deployed in the Formula 1 simulators used by actual F1 drivers in training, making this as authentic an F1 experience as it is possible to get. The Formula 1 experience came courtesy of Etihad Airways, who are major sponsors of the sport. The airline uses the UAE as a hub with flights to Abu Dhabi from Manchester being among their popular routes.
